Does Your Business Have an Expiration Date?

Does Your Business Have an Expiration Date?

Yesterday I decided to do this for as long as it takes.
I made the same decision today.
And I'll make the same decision tomorrow.

Some of you are so impatient -- just as I have been -- that you keep asking yourself, "What if it doesn't happen today or this week or this month? Oh my God, what if I still don't have the results I desire for a year or longer?"

You're asking yourself questions like:

What do I do if my group doesn't start growing quicker, or my list, or my coaching practice?

I kept doing the same.

But in doing so, you cut down whatever success you've had so far. You're being ungrateful, and even, dare I say, unrealistic.

Even with the "small" community I have between my list and Facebook Group, I've sold programs, products and services. There are people who, for whatever reason, hide out from me and whose names don't occur to me on a daily basis but who think of me regularly.

This was a big realization for me. I was on a walk (so many breakthroughs and lightbulb moments happen when I'm walking), when I realized so many names occur to me repeatedly and these people (like Gabby Bernstein, Taylor Hanson, and Gwen Stefani) have NO IDEA I exist.

It's kind of amazing when you think about it. I mean, of course there are people who you love and respect who don't know you. But think about the astonishing frequency with which you think of them, and how committed you are to buying everything they create.

Now's the time to realize that you TOTALLY can be such a big-name creator & leader that more people know your name than you could possibly remember their names. In fact, that's already the case.

Lock into that idea and you'll begin to understand the inevitability of your ascension to levels of success and fame that you've (honestly) been holding yourself back from.

So I've spent way too much of my time in online business measuring my audience against others' and feeling inadequate. Maybe you can relate?

You think, I don't have an audience big enough for me to make money. And I don't need to show up everyday. There's only 5 people on my email list and they're not going to care if I don't email them.

I know, because I used to think the same way.

It's kind of embarrassing to admit, honestly, but I know that the stuff I'm embarrassed to admit is exactly what you most need from me. (Don't leave me hangin' if you're resonatin'; share in the comments!)

I've heard it asked before, "How long will you do keep doing the work?" and I kept living like there was an expiration date to the work. In fact, there was. Because "the work" used to be different things. Before, the work was handling other people's marketing for them as a consultant. And that was painful shit for me. It wasn't my soul's work, my true purpose and calling!

If you're feeling like there's an expiration date for your current business, then you might as well call it quits now. Or decide to do it for however long it takes to reach the pinnacle of success you keep pushing off.

If the latter doesn't feel like an easy decision, you've already created an expiration date.

Get out of the expiration date business.

Otherwise, keep on keepin' on, babe.

Here's what I'm committed to right now:
- Writing daily #TRUTHLETTING with the goal of publishing new content daily (but at least sitting down and putting some words on the screen)
- Publishing these posts to my website, LinkedIn, Medium and Huffington Post
- Sending a Truthletter each day to my list at 10 p.m. (with additional emails depending on what's going on)
- Doing a livestream 2+ times per week
- Creating 5+ videos for YouTube each week
- Hosting my Facebook Group
- Coaching women who want to make a lot of money and a big difference
- Creating content for my membership site MyLifeElectric.com

What are you committed to doing? In what work can you choose to see the emotional payoff even if you don't yet see the monetary payoff? This is one of the biggest decisions you can make: to see the emotional payoff in the work as a precursor to the monetary payoff.

Oh, and always trust-
Your truth unlocks a whole big crazy cool life. Share if you dare!

With fervent hopes you'll return the love (truth),
Rosella
